KARACHI  - Three militants allegedly belonging to Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and one Rangers personnel were killed when a shootout occurred during a targeted operation conducted by the para-military force in Karachi's Gulshan-i-Buner area on Wednesday.
Rangers sources confirmed that one of its personnel was killed during the clash and added that a huge quantity of weapons, including hand grenades, were also recovered from the killed suspects.
Gulshan-i-Buner lies in Karachi's Landhi district near Quaidabad area.
In an unrelated gunfiring incident one person was killed and another injured in Kalapul area of Karachi.
Another person died of gunshot wounds near Five Star Chowrangi in North Nazimabad area of Karachi.
In another incident, an exchange of gunfire took place between police and accused persons in Roshan Bagh area of Karachi's Al-Noor Society near Federal B Area.
Police sealed the area while the suspects managed to escape under the cover of gunfire.
