LAHORE: Pakistan’s Test and ODI skipper Misbah ul Haq on Wednesday questioned the selection of some players in the team despite their persistent failures with the bat.
“Everybody knows who is not performing. But they continue to be selected for the tours,” he said while speaking to media persons on his return from UAE.
“I have been performing alone and what else I can do. Cricket is a team game,” he explained.
The 40-year-old player admitted that team’s batting was not clicking for some time now, adding both seniors and young players failed to contribute.
