Colombo: Prime Minister Nawaz sharif met Sri Lankan President Mahindra Rajapaksay at Sri Lankan capital Colombo.
Both the leaders exchanged their views on business activities, regional issues and for the promotion of bilateral ties.
PM Nawaz has reached Colombo to attend the 23rd Commonwealth summit which starts from today.
PM is accompanied by special assistant of the Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatmi, Minister of State for Information and Technology Anusha Rehman and Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani.
The 23rd Commonwealth summit will be conducted from November 15(today) to November 17 in Colombo.
Apart from Pakistan, leaders of 53 countries are also attending the conference.
The Commonwealth conference is conducted every two years. This year's conference’s theme is development with equity and comprehensive development.
