KARACHI:
A petition was filed in the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday seeking
removal of former president Pervez Musharraf’s name from the Exit
Control List (ECL), SAMAA reported.
The petition was filed by Musharraf’s counsel A.Q Halipota, stating that since the former president has acquired bail in all cases he was facing in Pakistan, therefore, his name should be removed from ECL, allowing him to visit his ailing mother in Dubai.
After hearing the petition, the court issued notices to the federal government and the Interior Ministry to file their responses by Nov 18
